14 nights of being pampered, very good food, extremely comfortable beds and cultural overload in every port of call. Not to mention some excellent company. This was one of the best cruises to date (10 done so far). Lots of positives, service being near the top. Entertainment on board was of a higher standard than last time.

On the negative side, drink prices are what you would expect in a luxury hotel in London and the Cunard organised tours are extortionate. So drink in moderation or better still take your own spirits on board, and make your own way in port. This is what we did, nearly every port has a ‘Hop on Hop off’ Bus service, buy your ticket on the bus and not on the ship, to save a bit more. St Petersburg is a little different, we used the services of Alla Tours, pre-booked online their two day comfort tour. This was brilliant, very smooth entry to the country, guide was waiting for us. A small group (11 on our mini bus) was escorted by a very knowledgeable and humorous guide. We were treated with courtesy and the guide was very accommodating to Diane’s mobility needs.

Highly recommended.

We rarely revisit ports, if possible, however, would be happy to go to the Baltic again. So much to see.
