Great Cruise, Panama, Central America
Anthony Pearson | July 29, 2019 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
Excellent voyage from San Francisco to Ford Lauderdale via LA Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama through the Canal and then Aruba. All great places except Cabo Lucas in Mexico, this a purpose built area that was more interested in booze and Niagara.
All the remaining ports were just first class. This was experienced on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth which is loverly ship with attentive staff. Unfortunately some standards have dropped but only minor points, now have pencils in the Staterooms instead of pens, the pools required attention and were dealt with, but on sea days. The bar costs have increased a great deal since last year as much as 20% in some cases. This did not detract from a very good brand.
In all l would recommend Cunard and you have to travel the Panama Canal.
