One of the friendliest cruises

We have just returned from a seven day cruise from Rome to Venice, stopping off at Corfu, Kotor, Dubrovnik and finishing at Venice. This was our second cruise on Queen Elizabeth and most certainly the best. Our four dining partners were very nice and interesting, the cabin had a larger balcony being on deck 4, the dining was excellent with a superb selection. This was our first time on 1st sitting and we were surprised how convenient it was, after dinner we were able to see the show, go ballroom dancing and still pull in the quiz in the Lion Bar. The crew were very helpful and friendly, the cabin was a good size with an enormous double bed and everything was spotless.
When we arrived in the cabin we were greeted with a bottle of bubbly, a large flat screen TV on the wall at the foot of the bed with plenty of interesting channels and very comfortable seating. The buffet dining on deck 9 was well laid out with tea and coffee served at the table if you so desired plus a wide selection of food at breakfast and lunch, we never dined there in the evening but I understand it still had a good variety.
The organisation for leaving the ship at each port was quick and efficient even when a tender was required at Kotor. We have visited these places before so we didn’t go on organised tours but was able to take the shuttle bus, or boat at Venice, into the cities and look around ourselves.
We were sorry when the week came to an end, our cabin attendant even left a thank you note, hand written, for the tip we left him, this was a first in seventeen cruises! Would definitely cruise again on this ship.
