Queen Elizabeth Q615
peter savell | January 9, 2014 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary aboard the Queen Elizabeth.
Booking the cruise and registering went smoothly.
The view of the ship when we entered the docks was awe inspiring. Our amazement increased as a smartly dressed steward took
us to our cabin. It was apparent that no expense had been spared on fittings and decorations in the vessel.
The cabin, an ( inside standard ) was clean , comfortable and welcoming. Our steward was attentive and friendly.
The food in the Brittania and Lido restaurants was excellent and our waiters were first class
Entertainment, was varied with music and stage shows to suit all tastes
Excursions ashore were expensive and had to be selected according to budget
Finally, Cunards main asset is its staff . From Captain to room steward all were smart, helpful and humorous
This made our special anniversary “SPECIAL Thank you CUNARD AND BOLSOVER
