Venice and back in my dance shoes
pamela senior | September 8, 2019 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
Enjoyed the cruise overall. Clever lady Captain kept us safe, even re-arranging a port because of weather. Weather overall was good. Only fly in the ointment was that I found the standard of dancing by the dance hosts not really as good as on previous trips. One was very good, but of course, not always available.
However, in the ‘Strictly Competition’ I danced with a wonderful passenger, and we won! As the song Copacobana might be adapted – ‘His name was Gordon, he was a dancer,………….’ The highlight of my cruise!
Looking forward to another cruise next year – might try Queen Victoria.
Thanks to Bolsover for all the arrangements. See you next year
Can’t send you a photo – haven’t yet transferred them.
