Venice to Athens
Jerry Harvey | August 21, 2013 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
This was a first as it was a fly cruise ,always before we had boarded and disembarked in Southampton.
Stayed over at Hilton at Manchester , car parked secure for week. Jet 2 flight good and on schedule, extra leg room seats helped. Arrival and procedure to ship at Venice very good and in state room before lunch .
Booked penthouse suite midships and in Queens Grill, 3 rd time on Elizabeth and all state rooms have been refurbished.
Excellent weather 27 C most days, sea flat calm and just relaxed. Returned on easy jet and had prebooked extra leg room seats .Again on schedule and off site car park facility worked well with bus waiting to collect us on arrival.
Nice to visit new ports and would certainly use the fly cruise facility again. Even managed to stay within the 20 kg luggage restriction.
