John Anderson | July 8, 2019 | Cunard | Queen Elizabeth
This was our second cruise on the Queen Elizabeth, last time was four years ago.
The ship still has its excellent service, superb food and high quality decor.
This time my wife and I decided to try club dinning, although there is a higher cost for this option, we found it was worth the cost, as it gives you any time dinning so you are not restricted on the two seating times in he main restaraunt, so there is no worry getting back for dinner if you are out on a tour.
Our cruise was round the British Isles, taking in stops and tours in Scotland, the Scottish isles, Belfast and the Channel isles, our tours were very well organised, and lots of help from staff and crew as my wife has a disability with walking, so has to use a wheelchair.
There were a few complaints we heard from other passengers that the entertainment was not as good as past cruises, and on being tendered ashore in Stornaway one of the tenders broke down causing long waits getting back to the ship, people saying that they felt very nervous On the broken down tender as the sea was quite choppy.
So as always we have been very happy with the service and style of Cunard, being a more relaxed style of cruising , so we would certainly return with Cunard in the future.
