Our 50th Wedding Annivery Celebration cruise

We had a fantastic cruise. Queen Mary lived up to our expectation in most ways. However we have to say is that as a Cunarder we were disappointment that we felt devalued as a passenger doing the full 26 days of this cruise. We understand that 400 odd people did the full cruise, but the emphasis was always on the transatlantic elements of the 26 days, rather than the whole cruise. We also had the unfortunate necessity to have to complain about a member of the crew and neither the member of the purser desk, nor our official letter of complaint was responded too. We had no acknowledgement of either.

Other than these two comments our voyage was wonderful. We had booked a Club balcony stateroom, which entitled us to dine for breakfast, lunch or evening dinner at our own choice of time and the dining room staff made us feel very special,even though one member of the staff had a family bereavement during the return transatlantic element of our voyage. Our commiseration are sent to her and the very support care the other members of her team.

Overall the voyage was an experience we will never forget, not only for the two transatlancis voyages and returning voyage to Quebec and New York. Ticking many boxes of our bucket list, it was a wonderful experience and a memory we will remember for many years. Thank you Cunard for making our 50th Anniversary celebration a wonderful experience.
