JENNIFER POTTS | July 10, 2016 | Cunard | Queen Victoria
We were a little surprised at the compact size of our cabin but soon got used to it but the shower was the smallest I have ever been in. The basin was very small too and it was difficult not to get water all over the place. Not much storage for toiletries etc. Our dining table was furthest away from the entrance so a long walk winding through other tables. Food was ok but our fellow diners rarely found anything to suit them. The menus are overly detailed.
On the up side the ship is beautiful with lovely seating areas throughout the ship. The Lido Buffet was first class along with the Commodore Club. The Queens Room, the Royal Court Theatre, The Winter Gardens were all lovely venues and our favourite bar was the Chart Room. Queen Victoria has the best musicians I have ever encountered at sea. All in all with the really wonderful Christmas decorations to get the Party going, we had a lovely holiday.
