Joined queen Victoria at Hong Kong.having cruised with p.o and celebrity I was expecting something very special being on a queen.my cabin was the first disappointment,so bland no wow factor no colour nothing special.stepped onto balcony ,dirty and furniture peeling sadly,I have never had such a shoddy balcony and wine stains from previous occupies still on table and floor.first night at dinner we waited 45mintues for wine waiter,no apology.second night 35 minutes for menu and when we asked if service could be a little faster as we didn’t want to miss the show, our waiter told us we should have asked as second sitting is leisurely eating not for rushing off…mind the entertainment was nothing to rush off too and we finally stopped going it was the poorest we have ever endured. The lido buffet the smallest we have come upon and the food was the same all the time.it was also the coldest ship and in the evenings a lot of bars were empty because of this,and please why does everything finish at midnight,we are not all ready for bed and cocoa just because we are over 60…speaking to other cruisers who have been on Victoria before all said it had gone down in all areas badly, I felt so sad that a ship which is only 6 years old has been left to run down in so many areas,and service what service you had to look for deck attendants to get a drink. However I have to say all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the ports we visited were amazing and so we had a great cruise in that respect,but would I go Cunard or Victoria again sadly no..
