Disappointed

We are diamond so have travelled the world with Cunard. We have had fantastic cruises October 21 January 22 where we stayed on board for a further 12 days.
This cruise on Victoria was so disappointing that for the first time ever I did not book another whilst on board.
The food in the Britannia restaurant was freedom dining at times chaos. Food cold whilst waiting. One meal the lamb was like rubber just fat. Cranberry juice ran out 5 days before disembarking. Other foods restricted. Lido restaurant faired better and we chose this option which we haven’t done in the past
We were informed we had been upgraded. Wonderful news until we saw it. Dirty carpet marks on walls but worse if all was the noise. We were placed near the crew access to the forward end right above the theatre stage. The drums g started at 6 until full complement until 11pm. One night the music was so loud that the walls and floor vibrated. On ringing the pursers desk we were told that there had been complaints from deck 1 to 8..
You may ask why didn’t I go and try to move. We did. I didn’t ask for a specific cabin just anything. I was told that there was a cabin at the cost of £1000. I declined that and asked if there was anything else. No! After this night of music hell I was told that there was an inside cabin midship! Why wasn’t I told this! We only had two more nights so it seemed pointless to move for what was then 1 night.
Cunard is appearing to favour new passengers and loyalty has gone out of the window for some.
It’s going to take a long time to book again. I’ll look at other lines.
