Excellent mini cruise
Vicki Roath | November 14, 2016 | Cunard | Queen Victoria
This was my fourth Cunard cruise, having been on the QM2 and twice on the Queen Elizabeth. The Queen Victoria was every bit as good as these two. We went on a 3 night cruise from Southampton to Zebrugge and Cherbourg to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was excellent, the entertainment good and the food of a very high standard – particularly the oriental speciality dining which was one of the best meals we’ve ever had!
I would highly recommend a 3 day cruise as we felt very relaxed at the end of it. We’re fortunate to live within 20 minutes of Southampton so were on board having lunch and cocktails very soon after leaving home and the weather was excellent – sunny and warm for the whole cruise with very still water.
The mix of people was slightly different to the usual Cunard cruises (a few hen parties etc) but there was no rowdiness.
Can’t wait to go again!
