Queen Victoria – 23 November to 7 December 2014
Maureen McGuire | September 21, 2014 | Cunard | Queen Victoria
Apart from having to queue to board the ship, this turned out to be the perfect cruise.
Because of the time if year for this cruise we were not expecting great weather but it turned out to be great. We even got to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the winter sunshine.
As usual all the ships crew were to be commended on their levels of efficiency and helpfulness and always very friendly. The lido staff in particular were always there to help those who needed some assistance to carry food to their tables.
An added bonus was that during the cruise a team of workers were preparing the ship for the Christmas season. The trees and decorations were beautiful and what a lovely surprise for those cruise passengers joining the ship on 7 December.
Out favourite entertainment in the theatre were the production shows, most of which we had already seen but this group of dancers were excellent and on the last evening we were treated to a new production show which was exceptional!
Our next cruise will be with P&Ocruises and hopefully they can meet the high standards set by Cunards Queen Victoria.
