Mixed experience

Problems.
I was sharing a cabin 4047 with Mrs Tester who made the booking. I think it was designated as having a Superior Ocean View.
One morning, the third into the Cruise I think,, at .45am I discovered the cabin was seriously flooded. I believev a pipe was damaged. We had the distress and inconvenience of packing and unpacking when we were allocated a different and inferior Cabin where Life Boats blocked the view through the window. The crew helped a bit and later furniture was added and re arranged to make us a bit more comfortable. We were given £ 100 compensation which now seems a it meagre. But we were in no state to press the matter. Lea, Head of Guest Services was a support.
On the Thursday Mrs Tester had a very bad fall on Tenerife. Briefly, she fractured her wrist and while she was taken to a Hospital I returned to the ship where Lea helped me pack a bag of Mrs Tester’s valuables, paperwork , change of clothes etc. Having.taken these to the Hospital I returned to the ship. It was quite late and the Hotel Manager kindly made sure I had something to eat. A day or so Mrs Tester was flown home , having been unable to rejoin the ship. In the following days Lea kept checking I was alright ; the nice staff at the Tours Desk sorted out The tickets Mrs Tester could not use and Sharon at the Guest Services Desk was a constant help in sorting out various financial matters .
By the way, Maria at the Medical Centre had earlier given me an injection for motion sickness on the second day.
