Boreal The Great Escape

Wow, what more can I say.! This was our first cruise since lockdown and quite frankly we like thousands of other people were truly ready for a holiday. This was a last minute booking and thanks to Morgan and the administration team at Bolsover they made everything so easy for us.
It was not without some trepidation that we made this booking, would Fred Olsen meet the Governments protocols and would we be able to relax enough to enjoy the cruise.
Needless to say we had no cause for concern, from the minute we were dropped off at Liverpool port everything went like clockwork. The port staff were excellent friendly helpful, very professional. We were welcomed at the keyside by the Hotel Manager Paul Goodenough and we were in our cabin 1hr 10mins start to finish. Painless and within a few days we forgot about the stress sorting out proof of vaccination,PCR tests and the Passenger Locator Form.
Facilities on board were great and all the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make the cruise as good as possible.
The organisation of the safety protocols,social distancing hygiene were excellent as was the food and entertainment in all venues.
Thank you Fred for the best 2 week holiday we shall certainly be coming back for more.
