My Fab Weekender!

I would recommend anyone to go on board any NCL ship! It appeals to all age groups, young & old, singles, couples & families – there is something for everybody!
My partner & I did a 2 nighter weekender from the uk to Amsterdam & from the moment we stepped on board, it was non stop fun. We were greeted with complimentry bucks fizz & very friendly, helpful staff who helped to show us to our cabin. The cabins are very really bright & colourful & have everything that you need, our luggage then arrived & then the cabin steward introduced himself – he always made sure that the cabin was clean & tidy at all times & towels always clean & fresh.
As we explored around the ship, there was a great atmosphere, people having fun around the pool area, eating, drinking, exploring the shopping areas – something for everyone whether full on or just relaxing with a drink around one of the many bars.
The food I thought was amazing. The buffet area had every food from around the world + one stand dedicated to Millies cookies & muffins!!!
We never ate in the main restaurant, we tried the speciality restaurants on both nights for a small surcharge & was def worth it! We had mexican the 1st night which was v spicy but delicious and then Cagneys Steak house the 2nd night, this was $10pp & was AMAZING!!! – you could even choose your own steaks!
Entertainment was non stop – as you walk through the ship, there is always something happening, again either full on broadway shows, karaoke, wii competitions or just a simply pianist.
The only downside to NCL is that they charge you $10.00pppd grats charge to your account & you cannot give it to who you think deserves it more & also NCL have stopped these weekend cruises out of the UK which I think is a big shame as it was really popular.
