Thank you. Sorry about the late reply, but my computer has been in the dock. We enjoyed the brief stay in New York, just off Times Square. The first week of the cruise went as planned, but the weather deteriorated due to an early arrival of winter. We think the crew kept us well entertained on board, with extra talks, cookery demonstrations, and other activities. We hope the refit includes more light in the public areas for reading by. The holiday was spoiled by the journey home, which involved a change and three-hour layover at Washington so that we spent 22 hours travelling.
