(Adult Only) Arcadia Fjords Cruise
Avril Moore | August 6, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Arcadia
This was our second cruise aboard Arcadia, the first time was about 10 years ago in the Caribbean so it was great to be back on board. This is an adults only ship and we enjoyed the ambience of it. The staff were as friendly and attentive as we remembered, we even recognised a member of bar staff from a previous cruise on another P&O ship.
We chose this cruise as we felt we’d exhausted the Med itineraries (Gibraltar, Rome etc) so fancied a change and this itinerary exceeded our expectations. Plus it was 9 nights which suited us. The Fjords are more stunning than we could have imagined, it was very serene and the views were breathtaking. What a wonderful way to experience it sat out on deck with a coffee as you sail by. We only pre-booked one excursion as they were so expensive, The Flam Railway which we would recommend. The port talks were very good.
The dining rooms were excellent, we tended to avoid the buffet where possible as it was always so busy but there were plenty of options.
We have recommended this cruise to family & friends.
