An Average Cruise
Kerry Stephens | August 20, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Arcadia
Nothing actually wrong with this cruise to the central Med, but nothing outstanding about it either. Evidence of P&O moving down market, entertainment pretty awful, portion control in the dining room (not great quality food eiither), and lapses in cleanliness with a dead migrating bird left on a stairway for many hours. Cabin staff however very good and efficient
The captain was a bit of a recluse and also on port days did not say too much about the weather prospects (got soaked as a result on one tour).
Feel they did not fully exploit the excellent premium dining, which seemed to be under utilised, but “fully booked”. Retailing very disappointing had a problem spending the wall on on board credit!
