Arcadia for the first time
Marlene Walsh | April 25, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Arcadia
The ship is a manageable size, everything is in easy reach. No overcrowding, lengthy waits for lifts or endless queues in the Belvedere self service restaurant. The decor is pretty and our cabin, a larger inside one on the Sun Deck, was excellent and ideally placed for everything on the upper levels. The crew are not the best we have had. There is little interaction, few smiles or greetings and we were never addressed by name, but maybe this is new Carnival policy. Our destinations were good, but the time allocated for onshore activities was very limited with early sail-aways most times. Being an adult only ship fellow passengers were in the main over sixty. I can recommend Arcadia, but it is not for those who like lots of bustle, high energy activities and “high spirits”!
