First cruise back since lockdown. Have cruised with Holland and America and Cunard, but P&O has always been our favourite line. Not any more. Very disappointing. The food was certainly well below par and, unfortunately, we couldn’t book select dining so had go freedom dining. What a disaster. Long queues are not desirable when dressed up and really ruined the experience. It does not work on this ship. I feel the Restaurant Manager should have walked the queues to listen to the very numerous amount of complaints. No turn down service in the evening, although chocolates left at morning cabin clean. Can understand that this is due to staff shortages.
The only saving grace was that at long last there were some new shows by the Headliners. Still some old ones but have to say that this was probably the best Headliners troupe we have seen. Well done.
Are giving P&O one more go on Aurora but then it is off to Saga for us.
