Arcadia November 2014
Kevin Rigg | December 21, 2014 | P&O Cruises | Arcadia
This was the first time I had used Freedom dining and whilst I did not have to wait to be seated, I thought the serving process at times was too quick. As soon as the desert had been served they were asking if you required Coffee or Tea which was immediately delivered before one had finished the desert and they commenced clearing the table. This may well suit some people but not me.Dining should be an experience to enjoy without the need to rush. The wine service was also not prompt often one was waiting until the soup had been served before seeing a wine waiter. I would not by choice use Freedom dining.I am not a great over of plated service this has changed from my cruise earlier in the year. whilst the food is hot you have no opportunity to reject items you make not like and quite often I felt the food presentation lacked care.
The TV channel really needs updating. They were showing the same TV recordings they showed last year.
That said the staff were excellent. The cabin steward could not do enough for you.
