Arcadia USA and Caribbean 2022

We had a wonderful cruise, my second, my husband’s first but what a bunch of moaners on board. They found fault with everything, and I mean everything and harped back to silver service and what used to happen. We have just been through the worst three years in this Millenium and we felt privileged to be able to afford our cruise but some people believe that the cruise lines are dumbing down…. Butlins at sea was one.
However, the staff were wonderful. The food was good, wouldn’t go over the top with that, certainly not five-star. They did run out of a lot, Prosecco (perhaps my fault) and tomato sauce!
If you liked bridge, painting and dancing then entertainment was good, however, in all three you couldn’t really be a beginner or else they carried on and you couldn’t keep up. Hey ho, it wasn’t the end of the world.
We had some fabulous port days. The excursion team were fab! The Headliners superb and most of the entertainment was great.
Would my husband and myself go back on a cruise? Me…yes. My husband….not such a long one with too many sea days together. Possibly the wrong cruise for his first one.
But to be fair, we are coming out of a pandemic and things have changed. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness at all from the staff!
