MY WIFE & I GENERALLY ENJOYED CRUISING ON THE ARCADIA & FOUND OUR MINI-SUITE VERY COMFORTABLE. THE SHIP ITSELF IS MOST IMPRESSIVE & PROVIDES EXCELLENT ON BOARD FACILITIES INCLUDING IMPECCABLE SERVICE. IN THIS CONTEXT OUR TABLE WAITERS RAVI & JOE ARE PARTICULARLY TO BE COMMENDED FOR THEIR SUPERB SERVICE TO TABLE 185. THE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE EVENING WAS ALSO FIRST CLASS, THE HEADLINERS WRE CONSIDERED OF WEST END STANDARD & MICKEY ZANY KEPT EVERYONE AMUSED.
THE ONLY DOWNSIDE OF OUR EXPERIENCE WAS THE REGULAR BLOCKING OF THE TOILET IN OUR CABIN B85- 6 TIMES TO BE PRECISE. OUR ENJOYMENT WAS SERIOUSLY DIMINISHED BY THIS, & ONE HOPES THAT CABIN B85 DOES NOT EXHIBIT THIS FAULT ON A REGULAR BASIS ALTHOUGH OUR EXPERIENCE INDICATES OTHERWISE. IT IS APPRECIATED THAT PROBLEMS OF THIS NATURE CAN OCCUR, HOWEVER THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THE LACK OF IMMEDIATE ATTENTION WHEN THEY DO OCCUR. ONE CALL TO RECEPTION SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT SADLY THIS WAS NOT THE CASE & IMMEDIATE ATTENTION WAS NOT FORTHCOMING. UNBLOCKING – A 30 SECOND PROCEDURE INCIDENTALLY, TOOK FAR TOO LONG APART FROM THE LAST INCIDENT, THE LONGEST TIME FOR ACTION BEING 2.5 HOURS WITH NO SUBSEQUENT APOLOGY. THE BLOCKAGES USUALLY HAPPENED DURING THE NIGHT (4/6) & THIS SIGNIFICANTLY INTERFERED WITH OUR PLANS FOR THE DAYS CONCERNED.
THIS PROBLEM WAS IDENTIFIED VIA THE SATISFACTION SURVEY & ONE HOPES THAT THE FUTURE OCCUPANTS OF CABINB85 DO NOT SUFFER THE SAME AGGRAVATION.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE INCIDENTS WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE ITINERY & THE OVERALL FACILITIES ONBOARD.
