Food

The starters and desserts were very good but the main course meals were not . They were unimaginative and unaspiring. One meal of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was in edible – we could not get our knives through the Yorkshire and the meat was more than half gristle. We were on Freedom dining which, for the first few days was bedlam, but settled down eventually. However the service in the restaurant was generally below expectations. Overall it was clear the management of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Often it appeared that some of the staff did not know what they were doing.
However our cabin steward was excellent as was the entertainment.
