Mediterranean Cruise with P&O Cruises

This is our ninth cruise with P&O and we were very disappointed. Our mini suite was not clean, the basin was chipped and the enamel was worn in several places and the silicone in the bathroom was worn and black. The air condition unit was very noisy and blew out ice cold air onto the bed. I was told this was normal although they came and taped up some of the holes in the unit. Our friends air condition unit made little or no noise in their bedroom. We have never had a problem before and I had very little sleep over the 15 days. The ship in some areas was very worn and we were told it was going in for a refit in October. This did not help us or make our cruise any cheaper. The four of us also felt that P and O were continuously trying to sell things – afternoon teas, dining out at restaurants with extra supplement, special photographs, dining with the officers etc. We also had several days with problems with the toilets inside the cabin and around the ship with no toilet in the cabin for hours over three days.
