Wonderful treat

We’ve just got back from a month-long cruise to the Caribbean and thoroughly enjoyed it. As it was still their rainy/hurricane season, we had some rain but most of the afternoons were sunny. Due to an Atlantic storm, we bypassed the Azores and went to La Coruna in northern Spain instead which was wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Having beautiful sunshine also helped! The staff as always were wonderful, shows, activities, food all up to standard and really enjoyed the formal nights. Our only disappointment was in the shops as the franchise has changed and there isn’t much to encourage passengers. The general shop didn’t carry items which are important – to ladies – such as hair spray and the perfume/make up shop didn’t have any nail polish either. However, overall, we had a fantastic time, we met the Captain a couple of times and he always updated us at 5:50 in the evening as to what was happening with the weather and what the sea state would be. We had to dash into two ports due to medical emergencies. Looking forward to our next two cruises with P&O!
