Arvia Caribbean Cruise
Susan Butler | March 2, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
We enjoyed our first cruise experience on Arvia. However, it was noticeable that the Meridian and Zenith dining rooms were less than satisfactory on occasions regarding quality of food and service and in the atrium area.
We were also disappointed at the venues provided for on board classes (Limelight club in particular for Fitstep classes). These were unsuitable and had safety issues. The staff were expected to demonstrate steps on stages full of equipment and electrical hazards. The number of participants were such that there was not enough dance floor area available and it was necessary to spread out around tables and chairs and dance on carpet which was extremely unsafe.
During days at sea there was not enough space or sufficient beds available for sunbathers on decks provided. Crew members made every effort to deal with the situation but requests for people not to save beds were largely unheeded.
