Arvia is P&O and Q!
Doreen Jaap | May 8, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Arvia
Beautiful ship and atrium less glitzy than Iona. Not a fan of booking everything ,takes away spontaneity and relaxation of a holiday. Staff and customers don’t like it so why? We queued for main dining rooms, Chef’s Table and Limelight Club even although we had booked ahead so very frustrating – not conducive to a relaxing holiday. We felt it wasn’t well organised – plenty very pleasant staff in some places but changed around all the time.Kitchen in Limelight Club understaffed (1 hour wait for starter and another hour for main course)and meal not worth extra nor was the Epicurean( very tough tasteless steak)
P & O are cutting too many corners ( no bottle of water on arrival in cabin no face cloth, body lotion ,shower cap towelling robe, ice only if you ask, no drawers ,only shelves .
On the positive side- plenty to do, spotlessly clean, spoiled for choice of where to eat, lovely shops.
