21 days on Aurora – not long enough !
Ann Cecil | August 13, 2014 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
Most enjoyable 21day cruise on Aurora. Check in at Southamptom went very smoothly, as did the rest of the holiday. Aurora was clean and comfortable, although looking a little tired in places, she will benefit from the major refit before her World Cruise next year. Lovely atmosphere onboard, all the staff I had contact with appeared happy and were very friendly and efficient, especially my cabin Steward Naz along with keeping my cabin spotless created the most amazing towel sculptures. Food in the main dining room, themed evenings in the buffet and lunch in Cafe’ Bordeaux was excellent, although I believe the latter is to be replaced by the Glass House. Entertainment during the day was very varied with excellent guest speakers, quizzes, line dancing and an entertainments team who worked so hard to please everyone. Evening entertainment again was varied and with something to suit most passengers over the three weeks, special mention goes to the 4tunes and Caravan. We had an added bonus of an unexpected overnight stay in Malta, I took the hastily arranged evening excursion to Mdina which was spectacular.
Three weeks just flew by, with the interesting itinerary and enjoyable sea days it was all over far too quickly.
