A Cunarder pleasantly surprised!

The cruise on the Aurora was to the Canaries. Couldn’t get anything on Cunard as I need an accessible cabin and there was nothing available. I have to say that the staff were second to none, absolutely fantastic and extremely friendly and helpful. There was a terrific variety of food in the buffet and also in the restaurant. The waiting staff was great. There were lovely quiet areas in which to sit and read (inside and outside) and plenty of activities to keep you busy if that’s what you’re looking for.
I know the ship is going in for refurbishment and there are areas which need upgrading so that will be good when it’s finished. Also, it is going to be an adult only cruise ship from next year. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Aurora to friends and would travel again on the ship.
