Another lovely cruise on Aurora

The best thing about this cruise was the itinerary. It was my first visit to Mykonos, and what a beautiful island it is. The weather was fabulous until the last four days, when we experienced force 10 gales and the ship was rather rocky. I love travelling on Aurora as she is so homely but, again, there are always some passengers (mostly male) who do not dress correctly in the evenings. There is a dress code, but on some black tie evenings there were men allowed into the MDR and Crows Nest without the correct attire. Why is this not challenged? However, I really enjoyed the cruise, meeting up with old friends and making new ones. The entertainment was excellent and I especially enjoyed the Vinylettes singing their beautiful harmonies of the Supremes’ and the Andrews Sisters’ repertoires. As a well established customer of P&O for almost 60 years, I understand and appreciate the comments of those who complain about the “cut backs”, but I am not deterred and will continue to cruise with the company for as long as I am able.
