Aurora, disabled facilities!
Bill Black | December 22, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
If you??re a wheel chair user, as I am, then the Aurora is for you!
We have just returned from the Canaries on this beautiful ship fitted with a wheel chairs users dream.
Your cabin door is opened with your access card and the toilets throughout the ship have a simple large button at the entrance you press and hey presto they all open automatically, just like Star Trek, it??s a dream!!!
Oh why Oh why have you, P&O, not built or retro fitted this simple but oh so needed facility to all the ships, particularly as this came into service in 2007!?
I only hope and pray you have included this adaption into the Britannia??s specification. As I am sure we will cruise on this within a year of it been launched if we are able to book heavily demanded disabled room!
Unless you are a wheel chair user you do not appreciate how this small addition can make your life so easy, and not you or your carer having to wrestle your way through a sprung loaded door, and not come home with bruised knees or elbows!!!
So if you are a wheel chair user you must make this your first port of call (forgive the pun) to really have a relaxing holiday
