We were planning to go to the Baltic in late August but this cruise came up in July at a low price. Within two weeks we were off from Southampton. We had three sea days ,one hot and sunny then two cloudy days. After this every day was hot even in St Petersburg The north sea was like a millpond both ways every port of call was really great the highlight being St Petersburg where we joined the all day excursion to the hermitage and the next day the Peterhof palace. Fortunately ,the communists didn’t destroy the beautiful city. Other stops included Stockholm,Tallin,Copenhagen,Warnemunde and Kristiansand. The ship was just fine,we took part in the Strictly come dancing competition which did take some effort and time ,but was still interesting to know what it is like to do it anyway.
Overall it was a great cruise and may consider doing it again.
