Baltic Family Cruise of a Lifetime

Seven of us went on this cruise together. There was myself, my daughter and daughter -in-law and four grandsons ages 21, 18, 16 and 11 years old. All four boys had exams during the last few weeks before the holiday and were ready to chill out. We all had the most fantastic time. For a holiday to please that vast age group it had to be very special and it certainly was. My 21 year old Grandson is an international cross county and mountain bike cyclist and is off to Canada for an international race tomorrow. He had to keep fit so he took his bike with him and they kept it in the cabin which luckily was quite big. He planned his route for when we docked and did 100K in Germany, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. We all went on shore excursions in St Petersburg which we found amazing. We enjoyed the food immensely and the waitress looked quite amazed when Jerome who is 11, ordered and ate octopus with black squid ink mayonnaise. We went to the evening entertainment together, had a go at lots of quizzes but only won one. They boys went swimming quite a few times every day. We all dressed up for the formal evenings and have some wonderful photos and fantastic memories.
