Brilliant Baltic
Gillian Nuttall | August 24, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
Having travelled on Aurora before we knew we were going to have a good holiday, but it was not just good but brilliant in the Baltic. The choice of trips at each resort was very good. The Ice Bar, Dragor, The Hermitage and Gold room, the Metro in St Petersburg( quite unbelievable) the city of Ghent were all excellent. Our trip in St Petersburg was held up in the horrendous traffic jam (which occurs each evening) and delayed the Aurora leaving the port by one and a half hours, but we were re located to second sitting (having missed our first sitting dinner) dinner without any problem. Nothing is ever a problem to any member of the P & O staff whichever ship you travel on. Some areas of Aurora are a little jaded but she is a grand lady. Captain Sarah was so friendly and just one of us, especially on the day of the bazaar. We are looking forward to our next cruise on Oriana to the Central med.
