Canada and USA – Do it on the Aurora if possible- I think
Phil Rigby | October 27, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
Lovely Transatlantic Cruise, disappointing weather on the way home, but as they say “ you pays your money and takes your chance”.
For us the Aurora is P&O s 4 Star flagship – a step above Oceana and Azura, certainly.
Plenty of deck space, wide wrap around promenade deck, Anderson’s bar and not to mention , a very efficient tender service.
We find the Captains style reflects on the service. On the Aurora this time , we saw professionalism, sincerity, a real will to make the guests happy. No infatuation with posing with the guests for photographs.
If I have one grumble , it’s that the photographers seem to have become more and more intrusive.- Blocking stairways in the Atrium, blocking your route into Anderson’s, appearing ad hoc in the restaurants.
Having said that, I think P& O offer real value for money, attentive service and lovely itineraries.
