Cruise – Norway & Northern Lights – 9-21 Dec 2022
Babbu & Meena Gohil | December 30, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
Ship – Obviously it’s an old ship so would expect the finishing and decor does show its age. Smaller ship so there’s not a lot of walking from one end to another.
Entertainment – Shows were a mixture of what we liked but enjoyed most of them. A lot of activities were available through out the day for us to take part in.
Restaurant Service – The staff were great. Service was not always great which depended on where you were allocated to be seated by the staff at the desk.
Food – was reasonable to great and there was a choice of both Veg and Non-Veg in the main restaurant and also on the horizon.
Embarkation – was fine and I still do not rate the staff as they do not appear to be very professional compared to staff on other cruise liners. We say this as we have travelled a lot with P&O.
Disembarkation – was delayed as they could not get the gangway fixed properly. It was also very steep and short thus if you were self disembarking it was not SAFE. My wife’s knee as a result was damaged and thus still painful. We did manage somehow and the suitcases were damaged.
Overall – it was a great experience to see Norway and the northern lights.
