Cruise tk the Isle of Wight and Dover

Itinerary changed from Amsterdam day before leaving to Ijmuiden and Zeebrugge. Changed again on second day of cruise to just zeebrugge. No update as to where we were but saw the Isle of Wight and White Cliffs of Dover several times! We were told by someone back home that we had sailed near Guernsey. Food onboard mediocre to poor. Staff morale seemed quite low. Maybe we were unlucky but we never had a waiter or waitress who looked happy. They hardly had time to say hello let alone engage in a conversation. Only saw our room steward once throughout the cruise. Ship looked clean but no cleaning visible throughout the cruise apart from a young boy one evening half heartedly wiping down the hand rails in the Crows Nest. Entertainment was very good and the highlight of what turned out to be a memorable cruise for all the wrong reasons. Bonus – we didn’t come back with a souvenir (covid) although I understand there were cases on board. Absolute shambles after disembarking due to arriving at a different dock and all the cars parked with CPS being at the original dock. Had to queue for ages to get on a bus and then struggle with luggage as no trolleys available. Have travelled with P&O for over 30 years but now time to say goodbye to them.
