Didn’t go to original plan / itinerary.

Short cruise 4 nights to Amsterdam staying overnight.
A few days before boarding had an email. Telling all of a itinerary change not going to Amsterdam due to essential maintenance on the sea lock. Told instead going to Ijmuiden and Zeebrugge. Given £50pp on board credit.
Set off from port as scheduled, next morning observed we were South West of I of W. Presumably killing time.
That day we eventually passed through the Dover Strait heading into the North Sea. That afternoon Captain informed all that there was a problem with the port of Ijmuiden supplying courtesy/ transfer busses so not going there. We were turning back at some point back to the English Channel as now that we were spending the next day at sea the weather forecast was better there. He was right the 3 day we were around the Isle of Wight in the sunshine. Before returning pm to North Sea and Zeebrugge for last day.
When we arrived there weather was indifferent with showers so our choice we didn’t get off!
Aurora has a “my holiday” App for on board this allows one to see your account and make theatre & restaurant bookings. It rarely worked so to do that had to go to Reception Desk for those reasons.
For those who purchased WiFi that hardly worked either.
Captain announce P& O would not be given any further compensation. If you felt the need approach your insurance company. A letter was provided to each cabin re the issues to aid applications to TI claims.
Being seasoned cruisers we are aware incidents like this do happen ( written in small print). We did not claim!!!!!
Overall we enjoyed our cruise, the staff / crew were admirable throughout.
