Disappointment
Ron Stanford | November 19, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
We have just returned from a cruise to the Adriatic on board Aurora advertised as a Strictly Come Dancing Cruise. Whilst I was happy for them to only come on board two days before the end, my wife was so disappointed as she was hoping to see dancing for the duration. Instead I would have advertised it as The Headliners cruise as we saw a lot of them. A further disappointment was the amount of time spent in ports. The main ports on this cruise Venice and Dubrovnik especially time being cut short with the shortest being Dubrovnik by having to be on board by 2.15pm. We assume it is to pay less port tax and by travelling to the next venue slower it saves fuel. Despite the above we had a wonderful holiday with the weather fine and sunny throughout the entire 17 days.
