We crossed Bay of Biscay in force 11 gale and were very happy to have a cabin on deck 5! Our return was calmer but poor temperature and cold wind kept us inside for 3 days. So would fly to meet our ship in future.
The ship needs a refurb. However all the staff were amazingly helpful and we had a great cabin steward.
The meals were not as good as we expected apart from some exceptions. We used freedom dining and this worked really well for us. We had some meals in the self-service restaurant but these were not enjoyed.
The gym and sports arrangements were very good.
The evening entertainment was mixed, we enjoyed the dance group most.
We did have to use the hospital and all the staff, doctors etc were really helpful and professional.
The trips ashore were good, wide variety and excellent tour guides. All arrangements excellent and we enjoyed these.
