Magical Cruise
Mrs Sue Nunn | January 7, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
Just returned from Christmas/New Year cruise on Aurora. What a magical experience from the moment we got on the ship till arrival back in Southampton. The weather was appalling- gale force winds for most of the cruise but we still had a wonderful holiday and the fireworks in Madeira were magnificent. It was made especially good by having Captain Neil Turnbull on board. We have sailed with him many times before and think he is “Simply the Best” Captain in the fleet. He keeps you informed about everything that is going on and tells you why he makes the decisions he does.
The Entertainment Team were brilliant and there was plenty to do all day, every day. It was lovely to see the children enjoying the Christmas festivities and taking part in the shows etc. Aurora is our favourite ship, it feels like coming home each year when we get on board and we have never been disappointed yet. We hope to be back in September/ October to enjoy yet another cruise on the wonderful Aurora.
