Return to P&O
Bill Knox | November 8, 2014 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
We enjoyed the cruise down the Spanish coast into the Med.
We noticed quite a few changes from our last cruise on P&O 5 years ago. It was more a down market holiday, 9 evenings were very casual with dress ware basic.
There were more charges for some services and there was no information about tips, when I asked the purser I was informed there was a service charge of £6 per person per day, I don’t object to the charge but it would have been good to know about it.
The half day in Gib was almost a waste of time, there was very little time to relax. Another passenger suggested that the port charges were high in Gib.
Too be fair we paid quite a good price for the 12 nights.
Cartagena was the best port by far, the rest were quite good.
The food was good in the main restaurant but I would have appreciated it closing at 9.30am instead of 9am when in port.
