Sn Fransisco to Brisbane

I will never cruise with P & O again. The ship is due to be refitted in 2015. I think that this is 2 or 3 years too late. I believe that the ship was beset with problems earlier in this World Cruise before I embarked (Stabiliser). Everyone I spoke to, had had sore throats, coughs and colds probably from the antiquated and past its sell by date Air conditioning. There appeared to me to be a really poor standard of middle management which is the fault of upper management. The Captain is Italian .
I was told half way through the cruise that I had no arrangement for Port to Airport transit at Brisbane and immediately showed Reception a photocopy of confirmation from P & O. It took me more than a week of repeated visits to get any confirmation of anything (there was a great deal of buck passing) and even finally I had to insist on being told where I was staying – (a day room in an hotel) and how I and any other passengers were getting there. The sound system in the theatre was faulty and not repaired so that some shows had to be staged in a much smaller venue.
Thefood was adequate but up to P & O’s standard that I have experienced in the past and some of the Waiters I came across were slipshod and surly until the last few days when “tips” were on the horizon. My cabin stewardess was very friendly (maybe overly) but I do not think that my cabin was hoovered during the whole of my cruise and I had to point out several times that certain routine jobs had not been carried out.
