What an adventure!
Paula Paling | December 2, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Aurora
This was my favourite Cruise we have had so far! Mainly because the Aurora is a small ship and we made some great friends on board and saw pods of Orca, which was amazing! We were upset by one excursion, it cost £136 each (×2) in search of the Northern lights. It was cloudy but apart from that we were expecting more than a tiny paper cup hot drink, tiny square of cake and a professional photographer was supposed to be advising us on how to get the best shots of the night sky. I know the Northern lights were not guaranteed that night but we still wanted the advice for another occasion. We always enjoy a few nights in the speciality restaurants too and these were not available and there was no photographer on board either so we couldn’t purchase our Black tie night photos like we always have before.
We love cruising with P&O but were disappointed with this one even though we made the most of it and still had a fantastic time.
