S. Shuttleworth | June 14, 2013 | P&O Cruises | Azura
This is our second time on a P&O Cruise and we took my parents with us, they were not sure about cruising but loved it. We dined every night in the Oriental Restaurant and the food and service was first class. Our waiters Antony, Balaji and our wine waiter could not do enough for us. We loved the Glass House and every night Ryan the drinks waiter had our drinks waiting for us. The Manageress is a credit to P&O, even though we only went in there for a drink or two before dinner she always came over for a chat and made sure everything was ok. We found most of the staff helpful and polite but the Reception staff were rude and not at all helpful. The waiters in the Malabar were not very friendly so we only went in there twice. The staff in the Planet Bar and Manhatton were very friendly and the service was really good always someone there to serve you. We had late dining so did find it difficult to get a seat to see the entertainment. It did seem that some people from early dinning stayed and watched the entertainment twice. This was a Strictly Come Dancing cruise and everyone was allocated tickets for the show which was a good idea so everyone got to see the show. On the whole we had a lovely time and loved the Azura such a lovely ship and so clean.
