AZURA – CARIBBEAN CRUISE – 23 JAN – 07 FEB 2014

We travelled ex Manchester on a Thomas Cook flight to Barbados. We paid for premium seats and they were excellent. The service on board by staff was superb. The transfer from plane to ship was amazing. Took 1.15 hrs from time of leaving plane until boarding ship – no customs, suitcases went from plane direct to ship. We had a marvellous cruise, the staff could not be faulted. Formal dress nights were adhered to, unlike other cruise lines. As a Vegetarian, the way I was looked after and the choice of meals I was given I have not come across before – it was fantastic, and as a result we have booked again for November 2014. The weather although very hot and sunny was unusually very windy, and we were unable to dock in St Vincent despite the Captain having a couple of tries. We did the scenes tour at a cost of ?75 and it was worth every penny, would highly recommend it, took 4 hrs – however only 16 passengers are allowed – so book early. Excellent holiday, excellent service from P & O, and excellent service from Bolsover.
