Azura Caribbean March15

Sailed on Azura three times and we really enjoyed our cruise, very relaxing, weather great and still one of our favorite ships. The Azura is going in for a refit next month and to be honest it needs it, the beds as not as comfy as they were, the sun beds need replacing and it needs a bit TLC in general. The other issue that we had on this cruise was that the service in the restaurants was a bit slow, this appeared to be as a result of all the wine waiters being removed from the restaurants, we were informed that most of them had been taken for the launch of the Britannia and that p&o were trialing a new service style to see if wine waiter were actually needed. I would say that they do need wine waiters as we often missed shows due to the very slow service in the restaurants at dinner, the waiters also had little supervision and forgot what people had ordered, this happened quite a few times. The food in the buffet could do with a change same offer there hasn’t been much change or variety over the years. I also noticed that the sea day buffets/bbq’s have been removed and the chocolate served afternoon tea is now self service in the buffet. It was all a bit like how much money can we get out of the customer rather than giving good service and value.

Wasn’t too happy that there were hardly any Scottish flights seems the same next year and 2017 too perhaps you could find out why that is.
On a positive he dream liner aircraft is a welcome addition to P&O very good and comfortable flight.
