Azura comments

Second time on Azura. Excellent cruise with good service but food average-good but not up to Celebrity standards who now beat P&O hands down in quality and choice of food.
Only real moan and it is a big one relates to The Retreat. We booked it for full period of cruise and were not allowed to book our sun beds in advance and had to get there early each day to get a bed in the sun.
Also the “adults only” pool which used to be part of the Retreat and reserved for those who paid the fairly high charges, is now open to all adults, whether they had paid or not. This led to congestion on sea days and noise levels rose accordingly so is no longer a Sanctuary of peace and quiet as originally experienced.
Some of our fellow passengers who had booked and paid as we had, demanded and received a refund and left the Retreat due to the noise levels and the overbooking which led in some cases to a bit of a bun fight for beds. For some unknown reason you are not allowed into the Retreat until 9.0a.m whereas you can choose a sunbed at anytime on the rest of the ship.
